Lake Water

Both girls made comments at the beach today worthy of note, but at age seven, and with such innocence, Evelyn takes the cake. Much attention had been paid to the boundaries of the swim area. I told her I needed to keep my boat outside the buoys and the lifeguard was also collecting seaweed at the areas edge. In the water up to her neck or so, after a few looks around and some contemplation, she asked, "Do you think any of the lake water ever gets in here?"

Yes Evelyn, sometimes it does.
