Aunt Liz found us an easy bake oven at the Goodwill for Christmas. (second hand is a requirement at our house) I can see why it was there if only for its inefficiency. You can cook one cookie at a time. After 15 minutes of pre-heating, 12 minutes of "baking" and ten minutes of cooling you are 37 minutes in and you have one cookie to show for it. They were pretty good considering they lack dairy, eggs, and many other thing that would kill you if you cooked with a lightbulb. Some hours later, we enjoyed them as dessert. Evelyn, as you can see, was very proud of her accomplishments.
